VISUALIZE think/space

The Center for New Media is dedicated to providing "reality-based instruction" for our students. An important part of that is providing an environment where students learn that mirrors the environments of the new media workplace.

We accomplish that through think/space. This is an "idea incubator" that is tied to the project management classes in our curricula.

But we haven't stopped there. think/space is becoming the project area impacting all areas in CNM. Here students from all of our disciplines, whether it is animation or web development, interact to solve real world problems, many of which have been suggested to us by area businesses.

Some of the recent successes of think/space are seen in our students placing 4 th in the nation (2003) and 2 nd place in the nation (2004) in the AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals) website competition.
