Web Design and Interactive Media
An advanced program incorporating both the aesthetic and functional aspects of web design, the program prepares you for advanced web design with an eye on how a website "looks" as well as how it "works." Web Design students receive training in layout, information architecture, graphics, navigational structure, multimedia applications, and dynamic content. Graduates are prepared for programming and writing code, developing data-based and multimedia applications, using graphics in concert with web site software, and the principles of design for career opportunities in virtually any industry employing web-based communications. An Associates of Applied Science Degree is available in Web Design and Interactive Media.
Graduates are prepared for entry and advancement into virtually any industry employing web-based communications. Significant training in layout, information architecture, navigational structure, graphics and multimedia applications, and dynamic content. This program prepares those with a design background for programming and writing code, developing data based applications, using graphics programs in concert with high level website software, developing multimedia and streaming media applications, and principles of good design.
