Animation
An in-depth study of animation that includes training in such areas as 3ds max, Macromedia Flash, Adobe After Effects, life drawing, multimedia animation, and digital art. Animation students gain a thorough knowledge of the medium and how it can be applied within a wide range of industries including entertainment, marketing, manufacturing, education, and software/game development. An Associate of Applied Science Degree and a Post Associate Certificate are available in Animation.
Our program in Animation prepares you for entry and advancement within a wide range of industries including entertainment, software and game development, marketing, education, commerce, and training. Animation designers work with 2-D and 3-D design, creating anything from movies to corporate icons. Common applications include: presentation graphics, consumer CD-ROM and video games, interface design, online services, and multimedia graphics.
We prepare students to be competitive for new media jobs within a number of industries. Salary ranges vary by location, job type, and responsibilities. We recommend Monster.com for researching salaries.
